What is Discovery Group?

It is a group comprising international students/workers from different cultures and backgrounds. This group provides the opportunity to meet new people and build good friendships. We have outings, dinners and other enriching social activities throughout the year. We also meet to have open discussions about what Christianity is all about.

What do we discover?

As part of our studies, we raise and discuss important questions about life, truth and love. These studies will guide and introduce you to this person called Jesus – who he is and what he came to do. By this, we explore what is at the heart of Christianity, what it really is all about.

As we explore and examine life, truth and love in light of Jesus, we will soon discover that it will confront and challenges us with choices and questions. In doing so, we consider the powerful reality of Jesus and the implications it might have both globally for the people of the world and personally for you as an individual.

So you are warmly welcomed to join us as we set out to investigate the person and event that marked the turning point of history with implications forever.

What is Exploring English class?

This group provides the opportunity for international students/workers to discover the different aspects of English through a variety of enriching & purposeful activities. This will also be a great time to meet new friends & build friendships. Besides, we will also having different social activities during the year.

What do we explore?

We aim to teach English through 3 ‘E’s, namely Explore, Examine& Express.

Explore: creative learning- games, videos/movies, etc.
Examine: comprehension of Bible passages.
Express: meaningful conversations, speech & dramas, reading, compositions, etc.
